There’s nothing scarier than you or a loved one taking ill, having a minor accident or suddenly discovering there’s something not quite right with your body and trying to get it taken care of. But for New Mexicans without health coverage, it can be a long and agonizing wait to see a doctor. For many, the only option is an expensive, time-consuming visit to an urgent care center or emergency room. Even if you have an insurance plan, it can take days, or weeks, to get in to see a doctor. The Wave Wellness Network provides affordable same-day care, and little to no wait, with a physician you’ve built a solid relationship with. It’s not quite like the old day of house calls, but it’s close.

What is Wave Wellness Healthcare?
The wellness program is based on the the Clinic Care Model, an innovative health care approach in which a physician commits to being accessible to the patient. The doctor provides primary care services for the patient. It does not cover patient prescription expenses, laboratory or imaging, emergency department or urgent care use, hospitalization, office procedures or other specialty consultation. MORE
